A number of Brookfield players have travelled to open tournaments around the Leinster area in an effort to get more experience playing against different opponents and at new venues. Reports have been posted of excellent performances at Templeogue, Mount Pleasant and Mullingar where players from the club gave a great account of themselves and were proud standard bearers for Brookfield. Ella Lynn Browne excelled at Templeogue before losing in a great match to highly ranked opposition. Georgia Lily Lynn Browne and Gregory Monaghan took Mullingar by storm with their excellent play which attracted the notice of many people present at the event.

Zach Baird, Cameron Baird, Gregory Monaghan, and Georgia Lily Lynn Browne, made a big impact at the malahide tournament with all of them recording a minimum of two victories each and going out only to the top ranked players on very close scorelines

Congratulations to all our players who displayed such courage and prowess when representing us in these tournaments. They are proving that Brookfield players can achieve the same and, shortly, even more than players from any other club.
