The autumn term of tennis coaching finished up at the Christmas break and the new term will begin on Monday 12^th January until Easter. Everyone should return to the same coaching groups they attended in the autumn session. Any queries regarding places in the coaching schedule can be directed to the Club Coach, Rachel McDonagh 086 8199930.

Junior coaching will continue after Easter until the end of May / beginning of June.

The Easter Camp will be run from Tuesday 13^th April to Friday 16^th April. Application forms will be sent out in March, and the format will be similar to last year. The morning session from 10:00am – 12:30pm will be for seven to ten year olds and the afternoon session, from 2:00pm – 4:30pm will be for eleven to fifteen year olds.

We are delighted that the Brookfield Junior Open will return this year after an absence of three years. The competition will commence on the 3^rd of April with the finals being held on Good Friday 9^th April.

After Easter, Rachel will be organising a Round Robin competition for all junior members. This will provide everyone with an opportunity to play matches and meet new members. Rachel will post information on the club noticeboard.

Robbie Kernan is continuing to run the Sunday evening squad training from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. This session has proven to be very popular and we are very hopeful that Brookfield will be well represented at all the tournaments this year. The squad training for older junior members, which was held from 7:30pm – 9:00pm has been cancelled until further notice due to lack of interest. Robbie would be happy to keep this session going, and players should contact Robbie or Rachel if they are willing to make the commitment.

All junior members are reminded that appropriate tennis clothing and clean footwear is to be worn at all times.

Absolutely NO CHEWING GUM is allowed on the Club grounds!

Please be aware of other members playing matches. Do not cross the back of another court while play is in progress.
