19/12/03 John & Bill win turkeys
Congratulations to John Gilson and Bill Cleary on winning the third and final
in the series of Turkey Tournaments. The next Turkey tournaments will take place in December 2004.
12/12/03 George & Limey win turkeys
Congratulations to George Hannigan and Limey on winning the second
in the series of Turkey Tournaments. On a warm and damp evening, more reminiscent
of August than December, 16 players fought out an exciting contest, with George and
Limey narrowly winning out in the end.
The next Turkey tournament will be on the 19th of December at 7:30.
5/12/03 Clodagh & Ben win turkeys
Congratulations to Clodagh Veale and Ben Gough on winning the first
in the series of Turkey Tournaments. On a foggy evening, we had the closest tournament in living memory
with 5 players attaining 17 points. On a complicated countback it was decided that
Clodagh and Ben were the winners. Hard luck to Judy, Mary, and Derek who just lost out.
The next Turkey tournaments will be on the 12th and 19th of December at 7:30.
21/11/03 Teams C wins Harris League
Congratulations to Garnet McCabe, Ruth Potterton, Peter Sheridan
and Captain Anne McEleney on winning this year's Harris league.
They beat team F 18-16 in a close and exiting final, the outcome
of which was not decided until the final shot was played.

25/11/03 Ladies lose out in Final of Floodlit League
Hard luck to our Ladies in losing in the final of the Floodlight league. They had a very close match.
Linda had a very tough singles which she lost 3 and 3,
but Sandra and Carolyn retrieved the situation by coming from a set down, and then 3-0
down in the final set, to secure a great win. Rachel played brilliantly, but just failed to
win her singles, going down 6-3 in the second set. She was unlucky to lose the match on an
outrageous net-chord.

19/11/03 Ladies reach Final
Congratulations to our Ladies' team on reaching the final of the Floodlight league.
They beat De Vesci 2-1 in the semi-final. The final will be played at Donnybrook on Tuesday the 25th of November at 7:30
20/11/03 Men lose Semi-final
Hard luck to our Men's team on losing the semi-final of the floodlit league.
They had a very close match against Templeogue, eventually losing 2-0.
Simon and Corne lost their Doubles 6-4 in the final set, and with Patrick having lost his
singles in straight sets, and Nicky 4-1 up in his final set, that was the end of their run.
The good news is that the team will be promoted to class 2 to for next season. Congratulations to
Corne, the captain, and all team members for their excellent performance in this year's league

Their quarter final match will be played at Brookfield on Tuesday the 18th of November at 7:30
