JUNIOR SUCCESS

  The Club is delighted with the outstanding result achieved by Cameron Baird in the Carrickmines Junior Open where he won the Boys Under 9 title beating in the final the favourite Paul Hartnett from the Bishopstown club in Cork. Giving outstanding performances throughout the week, Cameron kept the best until last to defeat his opponent in style in the final.

  This result is accompanied by other outstanding performances by junior members playing on the 'Open' circuit. Jack and Charlie Browne, Ella and Georgia Lily Lynn Browne, Greg and Ruby Monaghan, Eva Lavelle, Carla Moran, Gavin O'Neill, Ryan and Zach Baird and others whose results I have not received have been fantastic ambassadors for our club and are to be commended
